Main Job Function

Our client is seeking a registered Professional Town Planner to join their multidisciplinary built environment consultancy. This role is suited to a practitioner who is not only technically competent, but capable of independently managing planning processes, engaging stakeholders, and driving development approvals within complex regulatory environments. The successful candidate will play a central role in the preparation, management, and delivery of planning applications and spatial planning initiatives, with exposure to housing and land development programs.

Minimum Requirements Registered as a Professional Planner (Pr. Plan) with South African Council for Planners for a minimum of 2 years Minimum 5 years’ experience in town and regional planning Relevant degree in Town Planning or equivalent (BTRP / BSc / B Plan or higher) Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for site visits and stakeholder engagements.
