Role Overview

Position: Registration Officer Ceremonies (Casual) – The Herefordshire Registration Service, Gardner Hall, Venns Lane, Hereford.

Contract: Casual
Hours: Zero (as needed)
Salary: £65 per ceremony (additional hours paid separately)
Closing Date: 7 July 2026

Responsibilities

Conduct and register marriages and civil partnerships at approved venues across Herefordshire and at the Woollard Room and Orangery, Gardner Hall. Attend local Registered Buildings as required. Travel by car to venues. Be available for ceremonies on weekdays, weekends and bank holidays, and work on short notice as necessary.

Qualifications

• Mathematics and English Language passes to GCSE level (Grade C or above) or other relevant qualification.
