The Vocational Specialist provides counseling rehabilitation services in the consumer's community as part of our ACT Team. Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is a consumer-centered, recovery-oriented mental health Service Delivery Model. ACT Teams are an evidence-based treatment model that facilitate community living, psycho-social rehabilitation and recovery for individuals with the most serious mental illnesses and impairments who have not benefited from traditional outpatient programs. The position requires a Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, rehabilitation counseling, or another directly related field.
