Relief Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Report to the Team Leader on duty and Site Security Manager providing crucial updates and data.
• Liaise with a variety of stakeholders including the military.
• Complete and maintain regular reporting duties, including an effective shift handover.
• Patrol the site via 4x4 vehicles (day and night) and report any significant risks or damage.
• Support Air Traffic Control with incidents on the runway.
• Work in a control room environment monitoring CCTV, intruder, fire, panic and building management systems (BMS).
• Escort VIPs and government services on and off site at short notice.
• Issue building keys and hire cars.
• Ensure all duties performed are in line with the Assignment Instructions and GSSOR.
• Communicate with Air Traffic Control (ATC) and the Security Control Room using the phonetic alphabet.
• Report any health and safety concerns and observations.
