Research Assistant - CRU

To assist investigators in performing biobanking and sample management activities for PI initiated research projects.

• Biobank specimens (e.g. blood, urine) collected from participants in various research studies.
• Maintain and track stock level of specimens-related consumables and place orders when necessary.
• Regularly check and ensure specimens are stored at correct temperature range.
• Plan and accommodate freezer space allocation for new incoming studies when requested by investigators.
• Retrieve specimens from storage as and when requested by investigators.
• Maintain and update specimen volume catalogues to ensure accuracy.
• Plan, aliquot, and advise on large-scale specimens matters.
• Perform study-specific bench work such as DNA extraction and ELISA tests in accordance with prescribed work procedures.
