Research Assistant (Genetic Engineering and High-Throughput Screening)

The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Research Assistant position in the Synthetic Biology Translational Research Programme, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Julius Fredens.

The Research Assistant will be a part of the Fredens Lab. The work will focus on genetic engineering, high-throughput screening, and sequencing.

• Manage and drive research projects, design and execute experiments, assimilate and interpret results.
• Solve scientific problems, think independently, and suggest creative solutions.
• Write papers with the Principal Investigator for publication in high-impact journals.
• Take part in usual laboratory duties.
