Research Assistant III - The Friedman Brain Institute

**Job Description**

Under direct supervision, performs routine maintenance checks of equipment, responsible for the glassware facility and also performs routine checks regarding standard operating procedures of all laboratories; also provides support services for research labs.

**Qualifications**

+ Associates Degree in science (or related field) or HS/GED
+ 2+ years of related experience,
+ Two years in research environment

**Responsibilities**

+ Daily washing, sterilization, replacement of glassware and cleaning of glassware bins
+ Routine maintenance of autoclave machine, ice machine and dark room as needed
+ Generate engineering requests for labs and Linear Equipment Room areas (for repairs, light bulb changes, outlet changes and installations, sink/plumbing repairs, etc.)
+ Assists with other engineering requests for outlet installation or other as needed.
