Research Associate/Fellow in Urban Analytics

Job Purpose

To make a leading contribution to the growing research in Geospatial Data Science Group, this research associate/fellow will work with Professor Ana Basiri and the growing team to learn from geospatial data using variety of methods and models. This post will have the opportunity to work on a few newly awarded research projects including “Missing Data as Useful Data”. This role will explore what it means to be from the under-representative groups, such as elderlies and people with mobility issues in (15-minute) cities. The successful candidate will make (a leading) contribution to the formulation and delivery of world-leading research, developing their own career and team through delivering high impact outputs, submission of research proposals to develop their team and research, supervision of PhD and MSc students, presenting and organising conferences, seminars and workshops in the relevant areas as opportunities allow.
