Research & Development Chemist

Responsibilities: Assist in formulation and new product development by carrying out lab trials and evaluating product performance. Participate in production trials and process validation of personal care and cosmetic products. Liaise with suppliers for raw materials sourcing for new projects or improve the current formulation. Keep updated with current cosmetic and skincare trends, consumer insights, and competitive product strategies. Ensure product development compliance with ISO 22716, Halal, ASEAN Cosmetic Directive (ACD), and statutory and company requirements. Conduct product stability, packaging compatibility, efficacy testing, and accurate trending of results. Manage and maintain all documents and records to ensure the laboratory is in a state of readiness for testing support.
