Research Engineer II – Field Application Engineer

Design, maintain and operate SCADA applications, GUI/HMI, PLC programs and edge devices. Create APIs for cloud applications.

Digitally integrate new assets, test and commission hardware and software applications for microgrid field operations

Review detailed electrical power systems drawings submitted by contractors and ensure safe and reliable operation of the testbed

Manage the electrical system operations and support the project milestones of the NTU testbed sites (for example; NTU campus, Jurong Island, Semakau Landfill) and liaise with industry partners, vendors, Licensed Electrical Workers or qualified practitioners on topics that involve 400V/6.6kV MW-scale distribution network

Lead the necessary measures to maintain and improve the overall electrical system safety of the testbed
