The Research Fellow will have opportunities to work with well-characterised clinical samples, state-of-the-art laboratory platforms, and an extensive network of local and international collaborators while contributing to high-impact publications and future clinical translation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and execute independent research projects aligned with the laboratory's scientific objectives.
- Investigate mechanisms by which DNA damage and DNA repair defects influence innate and adaptive immune responses in cancer.
- Study immunogenic cell death, cytosolic nucleic acid sensing pathways, and tumour immune microenvironment modulation following genotoxic chemotherapy.
- Develop and optimise molecular and cellular assays related to DNA repair, immune activation, and cancer biology.
