Research Fellow / Research Scientist (Computer Science /Electrical Engineering)

The Energy Research Institute @ NTU ( ) is a pan-university research institute that focuses on systems-level research for tropical megacities. It performs translational research that covers the energy value chain from generation to innovative end-use solutions, motivated by industrialisation and deployment.

The role will focus on application of smart contracts in energy applications. The Blockchain Specialist will lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of the platform’s blockchain infrastructure. This includes developing smart contracts, integrating Hyperledger Fabric and Avalon frameworks, implementing TEEs for confidential execution, and ensuring secure, tamper-proof dual-hash validation. The specialist will also oversee performance, scalability, and security of on-chain and off-chain operations.
