Research Fellow (Synthetic Organic Chemistry)

The Chiba’s group at CCEB is seeking to hire a Research Fellow to facilitate research in the development of new organic photocatalysts that enable sustainable molecular transformations for the synthesis of complex molecules.

• Daily experiments and analysis of the data obtained from them.
• Oversee the project team to advance the project.
• Submit weekly reports on the experimental results.
• Give an oral presentation in group meetings.
• Summarize the project as papers (one or two per year).
• Assist in planning and elaboration of future funding proposals.

• PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry.
• At least 5 years of experience in synthetic organic chemistry as a graduate and/or postdoctoral fellow in advanced institutions.
• Analytical skills in NMR, mass spectrometry, IR, UV‑vis, potentiostat, etc.
