Research Officer (CMROCK)

The role of the Research Officer is to identify research streams, variables, data collection techniques and analysis methods that will be viable in translating research findings into clinical implementation. They will also oversee the smooth running and track progress of the research study related activities and projects by working closely with the Principal Investigator and other members of the research team. They will monitor the project to make sure it follows the requirements and regulations. They are required to adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS), maintain data security, ensure quality control of experiments and comply to lab safety terms.

• Knowledgeable in various molecular and genomic biology techniques required for the conducting of research activities which include Spatial genomics sample prep, Cryosectioning, H&E staining, library prep as well as ultra‑high throughput NGS sequencing workflows.
