Residency and Fellowship & Research Program Administrator

Job Summary:

+ Provide support to and meet regularly with the Department Chairman and graduate medical education program directors to discuss issues, activities, projects related to the residency and fellowship training programs

+ Assist in program-level policy development

+ Understand the ACGME program requirements for orthopedic, hand and spine surgery

+ Provide ongoing evaluation of the orthopedic surgery residency and fellowship programs to assess compliance with the ACGME program requirements

+ Work with the program directors to identify and implement solutions to identified areas of non-compliance

+ Coordinate resident-related research/education activities with co-directors of resident research program

+ Provide both administrative and supervisory support to residents/interns/fellows
