Position Overview

Under the leadership and direction of the Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Psychiatric Nurse as team leaders, the Resident Assistant (RA) provides care to the residents living in a small home environment within Personal Care Homes.

The Resident Assistant provides assistance with activities of daily living and meets other resident needs as required to protect, sustain optimal health and nurture residents. The RA will focus on promoting dignity and quality of life of residents within the personal care home. The responsibilities of the role will also include providing stimulating activities and care for the residents’ environment, including nutrition, laundry, and housekeeping.
