Opportunity Description
RiverMead Health Center is seeking a dependable and compassionate Per Diem Resident Companion to accompany residents to off-site medical appointments. This role is ideal for individuals who are attentive, organized, and committed to providing respectful, supportive assistance while ensuring residents' comfort and safety during outings.
Key Responsibilities
+ Provide companionship to RiverMead Health Center residents during off-site appointments as assigned by the Health Center Administrator or designee
+ Escort residents using the RiverMead van or other transportation arranged by RiverMead, the resident, or the resident's family
+ Assist residents with outer garments (e.g., coats, hats) and provide general non-medical support as needed
+ Assume responsibility for the receipt, transport, and delivery of required forms and records
