The Role

Head Medical is seeking post‑foundation doctors with a minimum of 12 months paediatric experience for positions located in New Plymouth, New Zealand. This Paediatric Registrar role offers excellent exposure across General Paediatrics and Neonatology within an accredited FRACP Basic and Advanced training post.

Responsibilities

• Management of acute paediatric and neonatal patients across the paediatric ward, Neonatal Unit, ICU, Emergency Department and outpatient services.
• Additional exposure to Delivery Suite, postnatal care and theatre.
• Receive strong consultant support and participate in regular teaching, multidisciplinary collaboration and professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months paediatric clinical experience post‑foundation.
• PGY3+ doctors with an interest in further broadening clinical and procedural experience.
