Resident Physician (Cardiothoracic Surgery)

Responsibilities

You are part of the multidisciplinary team providing day-to-day patient care in the cardiothoracic surgical specialty. You will be involved in both outpatient and inpatient areas, assisting in invasive and non-invasive investigations and procedures. You will also assist in all aspects of pre‑operative, operative and post‑operative patient care in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery.

Requirements

• Basic Medical Degree recognised by the Singapore Medical Council
• Relevant and recognised postgraduate qualification
• Passed the national licensing examination as required in the country where the basic medical degree was conferred (if applicable)
• Prior experience in an acute hospital setting is essential
• Strong interest and/or credentials in research would be an advantage
• Good oral and written communication skills
