**SUMMARY OF POSITION:**
A Graduate or certified Respiratory Therapist who, under medical supervision, delivers respiratory care services to patients in all areas of the hospital according to policies and procedures approved by the Medical Director. These duties are generally performed with only minimal or indirect supervision and must frequently make independent decisions. The therapist must be able to adapt to the particular area assigned and must be able to perform special duties required by the assignment.
