About the role

Balfour Beatty is a leading infrastructure company working to deliver key low carbon projects such as public transport networks, renewable energy grid connections and nuclear power stations. Low carbon infrastructure is a key growth area for our business. The UK has a strong pipeline of low carbon infrastructure requirements to meet the Government's Net Zero Strategy, which has mobilised significant capital investment for low carbon wind power, energy efficient buildings, carbon capture and new nuclear capability.

Reporting into the Procurement Function with support from the Group Responsible Sourcing Function, this role will be working extensively with our Sustainability, Procurement and Commercial functions to implement sustainability with the supply chain partners, aligning with our sustainability strategy, Building New Futures and the Client’s project requirements, which extensively focus on carbon.
