Retail Sunday Assistant (Pitlochry)

Retail store assistant (with keyholder responsibility) – £12.71 per hour plus benefits.

Reports to: Shop manager. Department: Trading. Contract: Permanent. Hours: 6 – Sundays (must be flexible for extra hours). Location: Pitlochry. Closing date: 28th June :55.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the running of the shop on a Sunday, including taking keyholder responsibility (training provided) and supporting a diverse team of volunteers.
• Assist the wider shop team in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
• Review and process donated goods and new stock.
• Develop creative ideas to help generate new income, with guidance from the Shop Manager.
• Use customer service skills to make customers and supporters feel welcome and appreciated.
• Maintain shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance and health & safety.
• Perform varied manual handling and physical activity required within day‑to‑day duties of the role.
