Retinal Screener/Grader

Band 4. Hours per week: Full Time (37.5 hours). Base: Hull Royal Infirmary, Hull.
1 full time post, primarily based in Hull with staff coverage across Hull, East Riding, North and North East Lincolnshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Grade patient retinal images and support screening clinics.
- Perform Test and Train assessments and keep up to date with the latest pathway changes and national guidance.
- Maintain strict information governance procedures and attention to detail.
- Work under pressure, managing a large workload with high accuracy.
- Collaborate with a small grading team, providing support and feedback.
- Engage patients in a friendly manner, caring for those with mobility or health issues.
- Adjust to potential weekend work as required during service transformations.
