JOB TITLE: Retread A Retread Technician performs functions from inspecting, preparing, and finishing in the remanufacturing of commercial tires in a variety of applications, from package delivery to food service distribution. These technicians are accountable for properly and safely performing a wide variety of services needed for all vehicle/commercial tires. Job Descriptions: Inspecting and buffing worn tires for remanufacturing. Applying a variety of tread designs to tires prepared for remanufacturing. Finishing of completed product, including the handling and final steps in the remanufacturing process. Quality control of finished product. Tracking and monitoring data associated with the processing of tires throughout the retread process. Observing and complying with all safety and liability guidelines and policies.
