Opportunity Description

Our client is an established conglomerate. You will be part of the finance department responsible for revenue and direct cost accounting. You will also be playing an active role in the implementation of IFRS 15 Revenue from contracts with customers and IFRS 16 Leases. 


Revenue and direct costs

  • Review and ensure revenue and direct cost are recognised in accordance with accounting standards

  • Document accounting positions, treatments, processes, workflow, internal controls and RACI (responsibility assignment matrix) on revenue and direct cost accounting

  • Develop revenue and direct cost recognition guidelines for compliance

  • Work with project team on design and implementation of new system to support IFRS 15. This includes setting of test scenarios, performing user acceptance test, tracking of errors and updating of standard operating procedures.
