Akron General's 52B Orthopaedic/Surgical Unit specializes in post-surgical medical services for various procedures, including knee and hip replacements and shoulder, ankle and spinal surgeries. Patients in this unit require immediate and frequent mobilization to minimize their hospital length of stay and post-surgical complications.
