Our team provides care to patients in observation status with a typical length of stay of 24-48hr. This fast-paced unit supports a nurse ratio of 4-5 patients. Med Surg Leadership and the entire UNC Healthcare team supports a positive environment with professional growth opportunities to advance up the clinical ladder
