**Description**
7 East- is a 28 bed Acute Care general surgery/Bariatric Post op unit. We are a Bariatric Accredited Center for elective Bariatric weight loss surgery and provide patients with specialized post-operative care that result in excellent post-operative outcomes in just one overnight! Our nursing team works with patients to educate and progress post-surgery using the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery Pathway. Our unit is very busy with the many discharges and post operative admissions each day. Opportunities to learn dozens of new skills along with gaining excellent critical thinking skills!
