RN - ICU
We are seeking an experienced RN for our ICU. The facility has 637 licensed beds and holds a Level 1 Trauma Designation. It also functions as a teaching hospital and is equipped as a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center. The ICU includes multiple units with 10-20 beds each. Common patient types and diagnoses include critical care patients with conditions such as DKA, sepsis, respiratory, kidney, and liver failure, as well as GI bleeds. Travelers may also care for surgical and trauma patients, including those from motor vehicle accidents, gunshot wounds, stabbings, and falls. Experience with neuro surgeries and monitoring is essential for neuro ICU cases. Cardiovascular ICU cases may include MIs and STEMIs but will not encompass fresh open hearts or advanced cardiac devices.
