Description: Licensed for 457 beds. Level 3 Trauma center. Stroke center of Excellence. Bariatric center of Excellence. Chest Pain Center. Client Fetal Medicine Referral Center. Unit has 13 labor beds and 5 triage rooms. Average census of 9-10 patients daily. Patient types include high risk antepartum, labor, and immediate postpartum. Active labor cases, triage, pre-eclampsia, and other hypertension disorders of pregnancy are common. Typically, 60-65 deliveries per month. Patient ratios are 1:1 to 1:2 for laboring pati...
