Float Required: To 2 other Med Surg Units

Weekend Coverage: Every 2nd to 3rd

Preferred Previous Charge Experience: Yes

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Patient Diagnoses: Covid patients, Telemetry, Post Surgical, Med Surg, CVA, Diabetes, Renal disease, COPD, Pneumonia, Cellulitis

Patient Age Group: Adults, Geriatrics

Special Procedure/Unit Details: 3 Medical is a Medical unit consisting of 10 private room beds and 1 observation bed. The unit is equipped to provide telemetry monitoring to 4 patients with stable dysrhythmias. Typical patient populations on the unit are patients with a variety of chronic and acute medical conditions like CA, diabetes, renal disease, COPD, pneumonia and cellulitis.
