Night Shift Registered Nurse
Location: Kansas
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (18:45 - 07:15), with options of 36 or 48 hours per week. Some weekends required.
Job Description: The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a general medical unit. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and interpret vital signs and patient conditions.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and pharmacy.
- Document patient care in electronic health records, preferably using Epic.
