Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift: 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15). Every other weekend required. Call required if called off on a prescheduled shift.
The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing nursing care to primarily medical-surgical patients with a history of oncology. The role involves administering chemotherapy and biotherapy, as well as caring for complex patient conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in an inpatient setting for medical-surgical oncology patients.
- Administer chemotherapy/biotherapy through IV, oral, or injection routes.
- Perform patient assessments and manage care for various medical diagnoses such as AKI, sepsis, and diabetic foot ulcers.
- Utilize advanced skills in colostomy care, central line management, blood product administration, and wound management.
