Under the direction and supervision of the VP of HR, the RN, Nurse Aide Training Program Instructor assists in organizing and teaching the nurse aide training program (NATP).
The RN, NATP Instructor may also be asked to assist with organization and implementation of new employees' orientation and clinical competency; continued clinical competency, general in-service, and staff development.
The RN, Nurse Aide Training Program Instructor must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served by his/her department-adolescent through geriatric. The RN, Nurse Aide Training Program Instructor must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span; possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status; interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to the populations served by the facil...
