North Tower 11 OB/Post Partum/Mother
WHY NORTH TOWER 11?
On North Tower 11, you get to help new mother's and their infants! Prepare parents on how to care for themselves after delivery and for their baby. If education is your thing, so is North Tower 11.
Common Diagnosis:
Pregnancy, Preeclampsia, Hypertension in Pregnancy, Respiratory Distress in the Newborn, Hyperbilirubinemia, ABO Incompatibility, Vaginal Delivery, Cesarean Deliveries
SPECIAL SKILLS: IV insertion and maintenance, foley insertion, NG tube insertion, lab draws on infants, hearing screens, metabolic newborn screening, congenital cardia heart defect screening, baths.
