Registered Nurse - Critical Care Stepdown
Night Shift: 19:00 - 07:00
This is a 13-week contract position.
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for our Critical Care Stepdown unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a step-down critical care setting. This role involves frequent interaction with a diverse patient population recovering from complex medical procedures.
- Manage and administer cardiac drips and monitor patient responses.
- Assist in the care of patients with chest tubes and other critical interventions.
- Perform assessments and monitor vitals for patients recovering from heart surgery, strokes, and respiratory failures.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Utilize Baxter IV pumps and manage occasional epidural pumps as needed.
