Must-Have: Must have a strong cardiac telemetry background, preferably 2 years. Must be able to decrease cardiac drips per physician's orders and parameters. Nurses will be caring for more telemetry patients versus medical patients.
Description: This position requires telemetry skills and knowledge. Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start, with a maximum of 2 attempts. Failure to pass will result in a 6-month do-not-use designation for specific regions. There is a pass/fail simulation lab on the first day of orientation. Failure in this lab will result in being sent home and a 6-month do-not-use designation. Nurses will be caring for ED holds waiting for placement...
