RN - West Telemetry Float Pool (Full-Time, 36, Night, Multiple Openings)

Scope of Service
The Med/Surg/Tele Float Pool is a unit that supplies replacement staff to the inpatient acute care units. The primary purpose of the Float pool is to cover unexpected absences from the units. Due to the nature of the Float Pool, staff will be caring for adult patients across the acute care spectrum. On occasion, Float Pool staff are expected to assist with caring for patients holding in ER, ICU or PACU awaiting admission to Med/Surg or Telemetry beds.
The Telemetry RN patient population is predominately patients with chronic heart disease. Primary diagnoses are: CHF, syncope, Afib/ Aflutter, bradycardia.
Staffing ratios vary according to unit assignment.
