RoRo HGV Driver/Yard Operative - Hartcliffe - Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £35,031.40 per annum (pro rata)

Hours: 39hrs per week, 4 on 4 off, 06:00 – 17:30

Location: Hartcliffe

Purpose Of The Role

To drive/operate roll‑on‑off and other specialist vehicles, fixed/mobile plant and equipment. To assist in other general site operations, to carry out daily maintenance of vehicles, mobile plant and equipment and to perform general housekeeping duties at Refuse Transfer Stations and Household Refuse Recycling Centres (HRRC).

Key Responsibilities

• Drive specialist HGV Class 2 vehicles.
• Operate wheeled loading shovel and other plant and equipment.
• Carry out daily inspections/maintenance of vehicles, mobile plant and other equipment, making adjustments as required.
• Carry out general housekeeping of site grounds and buildings.
• Actively participate in full range of recycling activities/initiatives.
