RTD Engineer, Mill Lining

Position

We are seeking a RTD Engineer to join our Research & Technology Development Team in the Mill Lining business line (MLB). The role involves developing new products, improving existing portfolio items, and creating new processes or technologies at the idea and proof‑of‑concept stage. You will ensure cooperation with product managers and other stakeholders while combining technical development work with project management. The position is primarily located in Skellefteå, but other locations at Metso’s main hubs are possible, and a flexible or hybrid working arrangement may be offered.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new mill lining products, solutions, and concepts focusing on safety, sustainability, cost, and performance.
