Rubacha Urban Economist

The Paul Rubacha Department of Real Estate at Cornell University invites applications for an open rank (assistant to full professor), tenured/tenure track nine-month, full-time position in urban economics with an emphasis on real estate markets and the built environment. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in an appropriate field with strong grounding in economics. This position will begin on July 1, , and will be based at Cornell’s Ithaca campus.

Candidates should have an outstanding scholarly record and ability to work in a multidisciplinary department with multiple valued constituents. The individual hired into this position will teach and advise students in the department’s two-year master’s program in real estate in addition to Ph.D. students. The successful candidate will also assist in advancing department initiatives and service.
