Safeguarding Advisor

Job overview

We are looking for a Children’s Safeguarding Advisor to provide specialist expertise in protecting children and young people from harm, abuse, and neglect. The role is central to delivering a robust safeguarding service, offering expert advice in line with statutory child protection legislation and best practice.

The postholder will play a key role in supporting multi‑disciplinary team (MDT) decision‑making and will work closely with internal teams and external partner agencies to manage complex safeguarding concerns. A strong safeguarding presence within the service is essential to safely meeting the needs of children and young people with high levels of risk and vulnerability.
