Summary About the Position: Serves in the Omaha District (NWO) Safety & Occupational Health Office as a Safety &Occupational Health Specialist. This position provides support for civilian employees assigned to the Safety and Occupational Health Office (SOHO) and is responsible for assisting with administration of the safety and occupational health program for organizational elements located throughout a large and diverse geographical area, engaged in widely dispersed and diversified activities. Responsibilities As a GS-09 Safety and Occupational Health Specialist, you will: Support Safety and Occupational Health Office staff, conducting surveys and inspections of assigned serviced areas, structures, and other activities for compliance with Army, OSHA, and local safety regulations and consensus safety standards.
