Opportunity Description
We are seeking a Safety Generalist to join our Deployed Safety Team. This role offers the opportunity to actively contribute to our mission of ensuring a safe and compliant work environment within the Laboratory.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Serve as a vital member of the Laboratory’s deployed safety team, acting as a two-way communicator between Laboratory health, safety, and environmental programs and the deployed Division(s).
+ Collaborate with line management, researchers, and workers to tailor the execution of safety programs and address area-specific safety needs in deployed Divisions.
+ Provide support in work planning activities and act as a local safety professional resource, offering practical implementation solutions.
+ Ensure compliance with Argonne’s environmental, safety, and health (ESH) policies, DOE orders, and OSHA regulations by offering coordination, guidance, and support.
