Summary About the Position: Serves as the Safety and Occupational Health Manager for a military controlled port. Responsible for full range of safety program management principles to include marine terminal operations; the transport of hazardous materials; industrial safety and occupational health responsibilities. Responsibilities Monitor the installation Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) program execution in supported organizations to determine compliance with policies and regulations and for areas where process improvements can be made. Provide technical leadership and guidance to journeyman safety professionals, assisting them in resolving the especially complex and difficult problems and cases where guides are very general or lacking.
