QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• COMSOC 1 & 2 / SAMTRAC / Relevant


• Experience of Health and Safety on an opencast Mine at least 5 years


• Beneficiation plant experience, conveyor experience


• Environmental experience


• Blasting experience


• Load and hall experience


• Grade 12 and valid Driver’s license

SKILLS:

Computer literate (MS Office)

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overall coordination of mine’s occupational Health and Safety in support of SHEQ Manager


• Ensure all legal appointments are up to date and in line with directives


• Conduct PTO’s


• Safety inspections and reporting


• Coordinating SHE Meetings


• Risk assessments


• SOP training


• Surveys


• Ensure safety equipment are maintained


• Ensure inspections on machinery are done
