Opportunity Description
As a Safety Technician you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by collaborating with project teams and implementing comprehensive safety programs. The Safety Technician will be responsible for conducting inspections, leading emergency response efforts, and fostering a culture of safety within the organization.
Responsibilities:
+ Conduct routine safety inspections, including documented safety inspections, SWPPP inspections, equipment inspections, and tool inspections.
+ Investigate accidents, incidents, and worker compensation claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
+ Coordinate and conduct safety training sessions for superintendents and employees, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
+ Inspect and update SWP3 Plans for assigned projects, reporting status weekly on pollution prevention controls.
