Sales Assistant (Golf)

Summary The purpose of this position is to assist with Golf Pro Shop Operations at the Eagle Haven Golf Course on JEB Little Creek in Virginia Beach, VA. Responsibilities Performs most or all of the following duties, which are typical, but not all inclusive: Greets all patrons and assists them with any of their golfing needs. Rings up sales of green fees, carts, range balls and other services/merchandise in appropriate sales categories. Ensures all players are properly signed in, and all fees paid. Meets golfers during play to ensure receipts reflect the proper number of holes, as applicable. Explains rules, etiquette and any other information regarding the course. Exercises knowledge of items sold and demonstrates salesmanship abilities, explaining use of various products, assisting patrons in fitting wearing apparel or the proper choice of equipment when requested.
