Sales Assistant

This is a part‑time role, working 20 hours a week in a busy clothing store. It is a fixed‑term 6‑month contract that requires flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, providing exceptional service and promoting the charity’s mission.
• Organise and merchandise donated stock creatively to maximise sales potential.
• Collaborate with the E‑Commerce team to increase online sales.
• Act as a Keyholder: manage the store in the absence of a manager, keeping operations running and ensuring a great customer experience.
• Use the till, PC, smartphone and e‑mail efficiently.
• Handle the physical workload of moving a high volume of donation bags.
