Sales & Trading Assistant

About the Job

This job will be based in Barrenjoey's Abu Dhabi Global Market office, which services the Fixed Income business's northern hemisphere clients.

• Assisting the traders to book trades
• Assisting the sales desk with client enquiries and risk modelling
• Reconciling risk and revenue throughout the day using a range of tools
• Providing trade and risk information to traders as required to help with decision making
• Problem‑solving booking or processing issues
• Working with technology as required to ensure all trades are correctly processed on a timely basis
• Working closely with middle‑office and settlement colleagues throughout the trade lifecycle
• Control design and process improvement
• Cost analysis
• Involvement in regulatory reform and other change projects, including technology change and testing
